Once you've figured out which business model you are going to use, what your web business is going to be focused on, and have designed it and found a good host, you are going to be ready to start driving traffic to your web site.
This is obviously crucially important to any web business. If no one visits your web site, you are not going to make any money. You need to get people there.

If you see ads offering to "Submit your web site to 10,000 search engines" or "Get listed 100,000 link pages" remember to completely ignore them. They are a waste of time and money (if they ask for payment) or will get you listed on a million spam lists (if they are free).
There are only about 10 search engines worth being listed on (and the top 3 account for over 90% of all search engine traffic) and getting listed on those "100,000 link pages" will actually be harmful for your site.
